New Festival Format to Bring Mountain Music Day One and “Sol” Music Day Two

Saturday, September 17 from 11:45 am – 7:00 pm
Sunday, September 18 from 11:45 am – 7:00 pm

Santa Cruz’s third annual Mountain Sol festival returns to the meadows at Roaring Camp Railroad, Felton, September 17 and 18 for two-days of music and merriment.

Produced by Pulse Productions, this annual festival has brought some pretty increadible acts to the Mountains of Santa Cruz (2014 and 2015), and this year is no different. What is different this year, however, is the format of the festival, featuring that “mountain” music feel on Saturday, follwed by some good for your “sol” music on Sunday.

Saturday’s lineup features acts like Mike Love, Steve Kimock, G Love & Special Sauce, Third World, closing the evening with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. Sunday’s sol lineup starts out with Katdelic, Pimps of Joytime, Sheila E., and Ozomatli. Closing out the Festival this year is none other than George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic. If that lineup doesn’t help you get your groove on and lift your soul, then we’re not sure what will!
