Low Country Sound/Elektra is excited to announce the release today of Shooter Jennings’ new album, SHOOTER, Heralded by Rolling Stone as one of 2018’s “30 Most Anticipated Albums,” SHOOTER was produced by longtime friend and collaborator, Low Country Sound founder Dave Cobb, at the renowned RCA Studio A on Nashville’s Music Row.
Leading up to today’s release, Jennings’ hosted four episodes of his very own video variety show, entitled Hey Shooter!, featuring Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), singer Elle King, actor Mark Boone Junior, Jaime Wyatt, Jenny Johnson and more. Each episode featured full-band live performances of a new song from SHOOTER. “Fast Horses & Good Hideouts,” “Rhinestone Eyes,” “Denim & Diamonds” and “D.R.U.N.K.” are streaming now at the official Shooter Jennings YouTube channel.

Last week, Jennings also released the fourth song from SHOOTER. Entitled “D.R.U.N.K.,” it’s an exuberant party anthem of a tune which premiered via Billboard, and is a rare co-write for him.

SiriusXM Outlaw Country (Channel 60) will air a SHOOTER Album Release Special this Friday, 8/10 @ 8pm ET. It will re-air as part of Shooter’s “Electric Rodeo” radio show, also on Outlaw Country at the following times, and will be available on-demand on the SiriusXM app and connected devices.

Jennings’ “The Bound Ta Git Down Tour” is on tour now with dates including headline shows, as well as in support of Turnpike Troubadours and festival performances including Black Mountain, NC’s Jam In The Trees (August 25), Tahlequah, OK’s Medicine Stone Festival (September 22), and Fort Worth, TX’s KFWR Annual Ranch Bash (October 20).
Among the new highlights will be a very special sold-out SHOOTER release day celebration at the world famous Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, CA, set for Friday, August 10. Jennings will cap off release weekend with an in-store performance and signing at the legendary Fingerprints in Long Beach.
